- A simple volume control will allow the amplitute of an AC or DC signal to be adjusted from 0v to full signal.

CIRCUIT DETAILS

A volume control can be made from just a single potentiometer.
A value around 10K should be suitable for most applications.
Any signal is measured with reference to 0v.

COMPONENT AND CONNECTION
|
|
|
|
Conventionally, clockwise rotation increases the volume on most appliances in the UK. To ensure this, connect the potentiometer as shown in the diagram.
