Puerto del Carmen -near Arrecife. A wide, sandy beach, little rocky coves and a diving school line the coastline, while a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafés can be found at the harbour. Live entertainment, cocktail bars and night-clubs, as well as restaurants and café bars, are all positioned along a central avenue.
Playa Blanca 15km from the Timanfaya National Park. There are four stretches of shoreline, and close by is the nature reserve of Papagayo which hosts the best beaches on the island. The resort has a large harbour shared by fishing boats and ferries that take you to Fuerteventura. Marina Rubicon, home to smart yachts moored in a private marina, is also nearby. Pavement cafes and good seafood restaurants offer a relaxing atmosphere to unwind in the evening
Costa Teguise - 5km north of the capital, Arrecife - four beautiful beaches and some of the island’s best amenities, including a fantastic water park and golf course. Windsurfing is a popular pastime in Costa Teguise with visitors and residents alike. The nightlife is lively, but not rowdy; restaurants are open until late and a good selection of bars, both British and local style, can be found in the resort
Tias is a short drive out of Puerto del Carmen. Tias has a selection of shops, restaurants and tapas bars
Oasis de Nazaret This quiet residential inland Canarian village has splendid views of the mountains and sea. The village is home to a famous restaurant designed by César Manrique, and once owned by the film star Omar Sharif, which is built into the volcanic hillside and offers gourmet dining in a beautiful setting. For those looking to switch off and unwind in a tranquil villa away from the tourist areas, Oasis de Nazaret is the ideal retreat
Macher - great for peaceful, sun-soaked holidays by the pool, spiced with trips into Puerto del Carmen
La Vegueta is located in the heart of the countryside, and is famed for its vines which grow in hollows protected by walls of volcanic rock. Local fresh and dry whites can be found at traditional Canarian bodegas; arts and crafts are a popular village pastime, and a handful of restaurants and the ‘La Santa’ sports centre are within a short drive of the villas
Puerto Calero is on the south coast of Lanzarote between Puerto del Carmen and Playa Quemada. The Marina of Puerto Calero is said to be ‘one of the world's most modern and exclusive yacht harbours’. This resort offers a friendly and family oriented environment.
