Puerto del Carmen -near Arrecife. A wide, sandy beach, little rocky coves and a diving school line the coastline, while a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafés can be found at the harbour. Live entertainment, cocktail bars and night-clubs, as well as restaurants and café bars, are all positioned along a central avenue.

Playa Blanca 15km from the Timanfaya National Park. There are four stretches of shoreline, and close by is the nature reserve of Papagayo which hosts the best beaches on the island.
